Xero has a separate add-on called Xero Expenses, which allows employees and employers to claim and approve expenses on-the-go. It's free for one person to use in the Standard and Premium Xero packages. If you'd like more people to have access, the cost is an additional $5 per user (excluding GST).
We can set this up for you to use, but you may not be aware of some in-built Xero functions that would do the trick...and at no extra charge. Hubdoc, for example, allows you to capture receipts and bills by you taking photos email them to a unique email address within your Xero organisation. Xero will then pull these in as draft bills, read as much of the information on the bill as it can and also attach a PDF copy of the source document. This is a free service and has most of the functionality that the Xero Expenses app has.
