We normally recommend that you update your bank account via your myIR account.
Changing the bank account number on your behalf
If we have prepared your financial statements in the past, you would have already provided us with a copy of a bank statement showing the account name and number. We also have access to Xero for the business bank accounts.
However, if we haven't prepared your financial statements in earlier years, or if you don't have a Xero file, we legally need to sight a bank statement showing the account number and name of the account. You can simply upload a photo or document of this and we will action for you.
If you'd like us to update on your behalf, we'll need a request (email is fine) asking us to make this change. Unless otherwise advised, we will use the main business bank account number in your Xero file.
